Christmas Storage Crate

This container, with its label of Clear Chalkboard Coating, can also serve as a decorative home for greenery or gift wrapping supplies.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- E6000 glue
- 3/4" flat brush
- chalk
- wooden crate
- 5" x 7" canvas panel
- jingle bells
- assorted ribbon
- 5" x 7" frame
- black satin spray paint
INSTRUCTIONS
- Spray paint the crate black and let dry.
- Use a 3/4" flat brush to paint the canvas Hauser Light Green and let dry.
- Once canvas is dry, apply a coat of Clear Chalkboard Coating vertically. Let dry and repeat with a horizontal coat of Clear Chalkboard Coating.
- Use a 3/4" flat brush and Napa Red to paint the frame. Rinse brush. Let frame dry completely.
- Attach the canvas to the crate with E6000 or other strong adhesive.
- Attach the frame over the canvas with E6000 and let dry for 24 hours.
- Tie ribbons of different widths and textures to the crate.
- Hang jingle bells on the bottoms of some ribbons.
- Use chalk to write on the canvas.
