Ucycle and refresh teacups into an adorable, personalized gift for Mom using ® Opaque Glass Paint Markers™

SUPPLIES

• rubbing alcohol
• cloth
• tea cups

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

This is a great upcycled DIY gift to give to Moms, Aunts and Grandmas.

1. Gather your teacup(s) and glass paint markers. Wipe tea cups clean with rubbing alcohol or window cleaner to remove any dust or oils from handling.

2. In this project you will use the Opaque Glass Paint Markers to paint on top of the existing pattern of each cup. Use the colors of your choice to paint on top of the petals of the flowers on the teacup. Here, I've used the Violet and Fuchsia Glass Paint Markers. Brighten them up by adding tiny dots to the middle of the flowers using the Yellow Glass Paint Marker.

3. Add simple stems using the Black Glass Paint Marker. This gives the tea cup a modern look.

4. This is the same design as the first teacup. This time, I used Orange and Fuchsia Glass Paint Marker for the petals.

5. Again, added tiny dots in the center of the flowers in Yellow. To personalize, add tiny dots and the work 'mom' using the Black Glass Paint Marker.

6. For this tea cup, use the Fuchsia Glass Paint Marker to add tiny hearts all around the existing floral design.

7. Continue adding hearts to the other side, then add the word 'mom' to the lower area of your cup.
