Build and polish up a scary skeleton candleholder for Halloween with DuraClear® Iridescent Varnishes.

SUPPLIES

• water container
• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• hot glue gun and glue sticks
• paintbrushes
• plastic skeleton
• clay drip trays

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Assemble and glue the pieces together, working from the bottom up: Glue the spinal column onto the center of the clay drip tray and the skull to the spinal column. Then top it off with an additional clay drip tray.

2. Paint the entire surface in Lamp Black. Let dry. Once dry, paint both of the clay drip trays in Viole Varnish, the spinal column in Turquoise Varnish, and the skull in Blue Varnish. (Leave the eyes Lamp Black.)
