INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Some steps may require several coats. Allow to dry between steps.
- Paint the raw surface of the pumpkin votive with Orange. (A fan brush is an ideal brush for glitter.)
- Apply Gold to the entire pumpkin votive.
- Apply Spicy Mustard to the bottom half of the pumpkins be used for wheels.
- Paint Slate Grey on the top halves of the pumpkins.
- Pop the stem out of the pumpkins and stick the dowel rod through the hole in each one to ensure a good fit.
- Use the dowel rod to help hold the pumpkin and blend the Slate Grey up to the center of the pumpkin, creating a sunburst effect.
- Blend the Spicy Mustard back over the Slate Grey, creating a slight ombre. (Don't worry if this color becomes muddy, it will be covered in glitter.)
- Paint Silver over the Slate Grey area and slightly into the Spicy Mustard sunburst.
- Paint Gold over the Spicy Mustard sunburst, blending outward.
- Glue rhinestones to the center of each sunburst. Paint the dowel rods in Lamp Black and attach a pumpkin at the end of each one, fitting through the slits in the metal pumpkin to create a carriage. (You may need to cut the dowel rods down to fit.)
