To start, I would suggest watching Andy Skinner's video, Learn Abut Media Antiquing Cream.

Items Needed:

Instructions:

Start with a piece of corrugated cardboard a little bit bigger than size of tablet to form a bag and a piece of jeans fabric.

Glue the jeans fabric to cardboard and use a stapler to secure the edges.

Paint the jeans fabric with Media Gesso and seal with watered down Media Matte Medium.

Paint one layer of Media Fluid Acrylics dark grey value 3.

Apply Media Modeling Paste black with stencil. Skip the lines where you going to fold the bag.

Paint dried Modeling Paste with a layer of Fluid Acrylics dark grey value 3.

I'm now creating a timeworn look with Antiquing Creams.

Apply a layer of Media Antiquing Cream carbon black as shown in the video, let dry and then wipe off a bit from the raised areas.

You'll now have the black Antiquing Cream staying into the deep recess areas.

Seal with Media Matte Medium.

Apply Media Fluid Acrylics quinacridone gold.

Apply a layer of Media Antiquing Cream titanium white and let dry.

Wipe off the cream to your desired effect.

Mix Media Fluid Acrylics quinacridone gold with a tiny spot carbon black and apply on some areas, especially at the corners for, a used look.

Seal with Media Ultra – Matte Varnish.

Add the closure before adhering fabric to the inside to hide the closure.

Inside the bag.

Make some holes to the sides of the bag.

Pull your desired string through the holes to close the sides.
