    NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Use craft glue to adhere the old book pages or newspapers onto the front and back of the journal. Spread White Modeling Paste over the journal cover with a palette knife or plastic card. (Leave some of the scrap paper showing through, but be sure that no edges of the paper are sticking up.)
    2. Instruction #1
    3. While the Modeling Paste is still wet, press stencils of choice or objects into the paste. Let the Modeling Paste dry. Adhere the chipboard numbers or letters onto the bottom front of the journal with craft glue.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Rub on Brilliant Turquoise and Gold Rush randomly over the journal cover with a soft cloth or finger. (Allow some of the textures to show through.)
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Fill in the rest of the cover with Raw Umber on a 1" flat brush. (The textures will automatically have variations in color.)
