Painted Beach Wedding "Mr. & Mrs." Banner

Decorate seating for the bride and groom using Americana® Multi-Surface Acrylics.

SUPPLIES

    • tracing paper
    • transfer paper
    • scissors
    • pencil
    • 3/4" flat brush
    • jute or hemp cord
    • #1 round brush
    • seashell
    • E6000 Glue
    • canvas pennant

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Use a flat brush to basecoat the fronts and backs of the pennants using Ballerina, Soft Jade, Coastal Waters, and Peach Silk. Rinse brush.

    3. Use the round brush to mix Peach Silk with Cotton Ball. Use the mix to paint the entire shell. Rinse brush. Use the same brush to mix Paprika with Cotton Ball. Use the mix to paint stripes on the shell. Rinse brush.

    5. Use E6000 Glue to adhere the shell to the painted pennant for a spacer in between words.

    7. Use a pencil to trace and transfer the "Mr. and Mrs. banner" pattern to each pennant. Use a round brush with Cotton Ball to paint on the letters. Rinse brush.

    9. Use scissors to cut the jute or hemp cord. Lay the cord over the tops of the pennants. Use E6000 Glue to glue down jute and fold the pennants over.

    11. Let the banner cure before using to decorate chairs or a bench for the happy couple.
