Painted Decoupaged Boo Pumpkin

Highlight a wall or doorway with this decoupaged pumpkin by hanging from ribbon or mounting on a canvas.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- tracing paper
- transfer paper
- 3/4" flat brush
- ribbon
- 9" foam pumpkin
- #1 round brush
- assorted scrapbook paper
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Pick five scrapbook papers of choice. Tear them into pieces so you have enough for two strips per style of scrapbook paper.
- Apply Americana Gloss Decou-Page to the pumpkin half with a 3/4" flat brush; adhere the scrapbook paper piece. Brush more Decou-Page on top of the paper strip to seal.
- Use the same brush and Decou-Page to add the second style of scrapbook paper. Brush more Decou-Page on top.
- Use the same brush and Decou-Page to add the third style of scrapbook paper. Brush more Decou-Page on top.
- Use the same brush and Decou-Page to add the fourth style of scrapbook paper. Brush more Decou-Page on top.
- Use the same brush to add the fifth style of scrapbook paper. Brush more Decou-Page on top. Repeat the order of the scrapbook paper to finish the entire pumpkin. Rinse brush and let dry completely.
- Use a pen or pencil and the tracing and transfer papers to trace and transfer the word pattern “Boo” to the center of the pumpkin. Use a #1 round brush and Burnt Orange to paint on the word. Rinse brush.
- To finish, add ribbon and hang as a wreath or adhere to a canvas.
