    • clear fishing line
    • white transfer paper
    • pen or pencil
    • wooden plaque
    • yarn
    • grapevine wreath
    • papier-mâché shape

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Use a flat brush to basecoat the wooden plaque with Wrought Iron Black. Let dry completely.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Use a pen or pencil to transfer the "BEWARE" pattern to the plaque using white transfer paper.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Use a liner brush with Cloud White to fill in the word.
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Use a flat brush to basecoat the spider with Petunia Purple.
    8. Instruction #4
    9. Use small flat and liner brushes to paint the details on the spider using Cloud White, Petunia Purple, and a mix of Pansy Purple with a very small amount of Wrought Iron Black.
    10. Instruction #5
    11. Pull white yarn apart to make it look more like spider webbing.
    12. Instruction #6
    13. Use the separated yarn to go around the middle of the wreath, wrapping it through the grapevine. Twist and overlap until it is as full you want. (You want to have a lot in the middle to adhere the plaque to it later.) Tie a knot at the end.
    14. Instruction #7
    15. Use scissors to cut the clear fishing line to tie to the wreath; cut the end where you want the spider to hang. Use a hot glue gun and glue sticks to adhere the fishing line to the spider's back side.
    16. Instruction #8
    17. Use the hot glue gun and glue sticks to adhere the sign to the spider web.
    18. Instruction #9
    19. Use a chip brush to dry-brush the wreath with Wrought Iron Black.
    20. Instruction #10
