DIY Valentine's Day Cards

This "wise" greeting card will delight your sweetheart on Valentine's Day.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- tracing paper
- transfer paper
- scissors
- pencil
- liner brush
- #8 round brush
- button
- cardstock
- black pen
INSTRUCTIONS
- Trace the heart pattern onto the aqua or pink cardstock with a pencil and the tracing and transfer papers; cut out with scissors. Use a liner brush to paint dotted line around the right side of the heart in Snow White.
- Trace the wing pattern with a pencil and the tracing and transfer papers onto a lighter color cardstock (light aqua or light pink). Use scissors to cut out.
- Trace the face pattern with a pencil and the tracing and transfer papers onto a lighter color cardstock (light aqua or light pink). Use scissors to cut out. Use a #8 round brush to paint the face in Snow White.
- Use craft glue to adhere the wing and face to the front of the card. Use a liner brush to paint the beak and dotted lines around the wing and face in Cinnamon Drop. Use a #8 round brush and Snow White to paint heart accents on chest.
- Open the card and use a liner brush to paint a dotted line around the perimeter in Snow White. Add a handwritten greeting with a black pen.
- Close the card and use craft glue to adhere the eyes (buttons). (Refer to photo for placement.)
