Painted Pineapple Ukulele

Create a fruit-inspired instrument to play your summer jams with using Americana® Multi-Surface Acrylics.

SUPPLIES

    • paper towels
    • painter's tape
    • round brush
    • wooden guitar
    • pouncer
    • flat brushes

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

    Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Prepare the ukulele by removing the strings and any stickers and adhesive from the surface.

    3. Paint the round part of the instrument with Brown Sugar.

    5. Paint the rest of the ukulele with Leprechaun.

    7. Place the Honeywire Stencil on top of the base of the ukulele. Use a foam applicator to dab Canary over the stencil. Repeat until the pineapple design is complete.

    9. Use Chartreuse to add the "leaves" to the "pineapple": use a thin brush to paint pointed leaves on the neck of the ukulele.
