Start the school year off with a bang of color and pattern with Americana® Gloss Enamels™.

SUPPLIES

• tracing paper
• scissors
• pencil
• #6 flat brush
• fine point Sharpie® marker or pen
• #1 round brush
• grey transfer paper
• E6000 Glue
• school supplies

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Print off some inspirational quotes. Trace and transfer the patterns onto the folders with a pencil and grey transfer paper. (You can also free-hand the patterns, if desired.)

2. Use a flat brush to basecoat the ruler and a pencil in Lavender; one pencil in Vivid Violet and another in Desert Turquoise; the calculator in Glorious Gold (Metallic); and the pineapples on the folder in yellow. Use a flat brush with green and yellow at the same time to paint the leaves and cacti. Use a round brush with green for the tops of the pineapples. Use a round brush for the black triangles.

3. Use a round brush to paint pineapples on the ruler the same way as the folder. Use a black marker to go over the ruler numbers. Use scissors to cut out the quotes and glue the down with E6000 Glue. Use a round brush with Black to add details on the folder, to outline the quotes, and to add triangles to the calculator.
