Make a Personalized Fashionable Wooden Pencil Box with a Trendy Pattern and Go Back to School in Style.
SUPPLIES
- tracing paper
- transfer paper
- ruler
- pencil
- #2 round brush
- screwdriver
- 3/4" flat brush
- #6 flat brush
- medium wooden box
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry between steps
- Print off pattern.
- Use screwdriver to remove hardware from box.
- Use pencil and ruler to trace border on front. Refer to brackets for placement of lines.
- Use 3/4” flat brush with Sea Breeze to paint outer border of lid and edges and White for lid center. Rinse brush.
- Use same brush with Melon to paint whole bottom of box. Rinse brush.
- Use pencil to trace and transfer pattern on lid.
- Use 3/4” flat brush with Sea Breeze to paint oval. Rinse brush.
- Use #6 flat brush with Melon to paint every other chevron zigzag. Rinse brush.
- Use #2 round brush with Snow White to paint name. Rinse brush. Let dry completely.
- Use same brush with Ice Crystal to embellish name. Rinse brush.
- Use 3/4 flat brush and DuraClear varnish to seal. Let dry between coats.
