Turn a simple map into a quirky and colorful wall accent piece with Americana® Acrylics.

SUPPLIES

• water container
• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• flat brush
• #5 round brush
• #4 round brush
• black fine point marker
• 1/2" brush
• United States of America corkboard

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Using a flat brush, paint evenly spaced states using Coral Blush.

2. Paint evenly spaced states using Hauser Light Green.

3. Paint evenly spaced states using Salem Blue.

4. Fill in the remaining states with Black Plum.

5. Using a fine tip marker or pen, hand write each state's name in its corresponding location. (Be creative and daring.) With a fine-tipped brush, paint the lettering in contrasting colors: Black Plum states use Coral Blush and all other bright colored states use Black Plum.
