    • sandpaper
    • flat brush
    • hot glue gun
    • wood glue
    • cosmetic sponge
    • hemp cord
    • pliers
    • terra cotta pots and saucers
    • wooden circle
    • candlestick
    • E6000 Glue
    • round brush

    1. If the round wooden pieces are rough, use sandpaper to smooth them out.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Use E6000 Glue to attach the terra cotta saucer to the terra cotta pot. (Do this with both pots and saucers.) Allow to dry.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Use pliers to remove the metal part of the candlestick. (Loosen it slowly so the metal doesn't tear into tiny pieces.)
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Apply wood glue to the bottom of the candlestick and the top of the round wooden piece. Center the candlestick on the wooden piece and allow to dry.
    8. Instruction #4
    9. When the pots are dry, paint them in Everlasting. (This may take one or two coats for complete coverage.)
    10. Instruction #5
    11. Paint the wooden circle base with Vintage. Allow to dry.
    12. Instruction #6
    13. Apply E6000 Glue to the top of the base and the bottom of the pot. Attach them together according to the package directions. Allow to dry.
    14. Instruction #7
    15. Using a hot glue gun, attach the hemp or cording to the bottom back of the top rim of the pot. Begin gluing the hemp around the rim, until you have filled the rim completely. (After the first row of glue, you don't need to apply glue as liberally, until the final row of glue.) Cover the gap between the pot and the saucer by applying a few rows of hemp with the glue gun.
    16. Instruction #8
    17. Use the Feathered Friends Stencil, Carbon, and a cosmetic sponge to apply a bird to the front of the smaller stands. Using the paintbrush, free-hand a small branch underneath the bird. Use the Vintage Numbers Stencil to apply an accent to the taller stand.
