SUPPLIES

  • paper towels
  • 1" painter's tape
  • cosmetic sponge
  • paper tag
  • #10/0 liner brush
  • cardboard box
  • small flat brush
  • large flat brush
  • #1 flat bristle brush

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Allow the pink basecoat to dry completely before starting the green Quatrefoil stencil.

  1. Gather the supplies listed in the instructions.
  2. Instruction #1
  3. Use Innocence to paint the lower part of the box. Use Eucalyptus to paint the lid of the box. Use a large flat brush for both with long, smooth strokes.
  4. Instruction #2
  5. Place the Quatrefoil stencil centered on the side of the box. Dip a cosmetic sponge in Eucalyptus; dab the sponge on a paper towel so that the sponge has very little paint on it; and fill in the stencil. To finish the bottom portion of the box, lift the stencil and place the top row along the last painted row. (That helps you get perfect distance for the next few rows.)
  6. Instruction #3
  7. Repeat the previous instructions for all four sides of the box.
  8. Instruction #4
  9. Use the rose on the Let Love Bloom stencil to place one rose in the top left corner and three roses in the bottom right corner. (You can use blue painter's tape to hold the stencil in position if you choose.) Use Green Beret to make the greenery.
  10. Instruction #5
  11. For the roses, use a small flat brush and Rosebud for the petals. Highlight them with Ballerina with a liner brush.
  12. Instruction #6
  13. Use White Birch on the large flat brush to paint the paper tag.
  14. Instruction #7
  15. Use Pink Cadillac and Rosebud for the roses. Use Green Beret for the greenery. Use Eucalyptus for the letters.
