Send a message on a terra cotta pot with Americana® Chalkboard Paint.

SUPPLIES

• water container
• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• pencil
• chalk
• terra cotta pot
• black Sharpie® marker
• fabric measuring tape

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Basecoat the lower section of the pot with Black Chalkboard Paint.
2. Coat the upper lip of the pot with Cadmium Yellow.
3. Wrap the measuring tape around the top lip of the pot. Use a pencil to mark 1/4", 1/2", and 1".
4. Go over the pencil marks with a black Sharpie® marker. Write inch numbers under the corresponding positions.
5. Use chalk to write a message.
