    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Pick out some plastic bottles that could make a good whale. Wash out and lightly sand the container surfaces.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Use Mint Julep Green to paint one container and Peacock Teal to paint the other.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. With an X-Acto knife, cut a toilet paper roll into a tail shape and tape to the end of the bottle.
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Spread Texture Sand Paste onto the tail with a palette knife.
    8. Instruction #4
    9. Add Coral to the bottom of the container and Eucalyptus Leaf onto the tail. (See photo for color placement.) Paint the eyes directly onto the container if there is no texture. If there is not a smooth surface, paint the eyes onto a cut-out toilet paper roll and glue to container.
    10. Instruction #5
    11. Mix Peacock Teal and Sea Breeze 1:1 and paint onto the bottom of the second whale. Use Cobblestone to paint the eyes shapes and Lamp Black to paint lines onto the tail.
    12. Instruction #6
    13. Add more decorations with Eucalyptus Leaf to the first whale: dots and a solid area on top.
    14. Instruction #7
    15. Paint Lamp Black lines to add a graphic quality and contrast.
    16. Instruction #8
    17. Paint Coral circles over the Eucalyptus Leaf on top.
    18. Instruction #9
    19. Paint more lines and decorations with Lamp Black and Snow White onto the second whale.
    20. Instruction #10
    21. Use different kinds of brush-strokes to add a variety of pattern. When both are completely dry, use an X-Acto knife and cut a hole in the top. Add water and flowers.
    22. Instruction #11
