Here's a photo frame he'll want in his room, created with Americana Decor® Chalky Finish and Urban Ink Stencils.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- 2" chip brush
- #2 round brush
- 3/4" flat brush
- star stencil
- cosmetic foam wedge
- 12" square wooden frame
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Use a 3/4" flat brush and Legacy to basecoat the frame.
- Load the chip brush tips with Serene. Wipe on a paper towel to remove excess paint. Gently drag the brush across the frame in one direction. Repeat until you are satisfied with results.
- Position the letters for "Wanted" from the Urban Ink Outlaw Stencil at the top of the frame beginning with the "W". Load the small flat side of a cosmetic sponge with Serene. Pounce the loaded sponge on the palette or plastic plate a few times to push the paint up into the sponge. Gently tap the paint into the stencil opening. Position and stencil the remaining "Wanted" letters.
- Position the stencil numbers as desired. Use a cosmetic sponge and Rouge to stencil on the numbers.
- Use the letter "S" and Serene for a dollar sign. Use a #2 round brush to paint vertical lines on "S".
- Use any star stencil or draw your own. Use a #2 round brush and Inheritance to paint a star on each side of the numbers.
