Create this whimsical wall decoration to welcome the fall season.

SUPPLIES

• water container
• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• tracing paper
• transfer paper
• #8 round brush
• assorted ribbon
• white pencil
• E6000 Glue
• half foam pumpkin

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Use the pattern and the tracing and transfer papers to trace the little fox onto the half pumpkin with a pencil. (I used a soft lead white pencil, but anything that shows up will do.) Mix (2) parts Vanilla Shake with (1) part Pumpkin Patch. Use a #8 round brush to paint the fox with two coats of that light orange mix.

2. Use the pattern, the pencil, and the tracing and transfer papers to trace the "Hello Fall" letters onto the half pumpkin. Mix Woodland Green with Vanilla Shake 1:1 to get a light green color. Use a #8 round brush to paint the letters with two coats of the mix.

3. Use the pattern, the pencil, and the tracing and transfer papers to trace the leaves onto the pumpkin. Use a #8 round brush to paint the leaves in Pumpkin Patch (shaded with Lipstick), Muted Gold, and Woodland Green. While the paint is still wet, add highlights in Vanilla Shake. (Refer to photo.)

4. Continue with the leaf pattern all the way around the pumpkin using a #8 round brush with Mushroom and Vanilla Shake accents.

5. Using a #8 round brush, add details to the fox: Start with Vanilla Shake to the eye, chest, and tip of the tail. Add contrast to the muzzle, body, and tail with Pumpkin Patch (shaded with Lipstick), blending into the light orange mix. Paint the eyes and nose in Woodland Green.

6. For the hanger: cut a piece of ribbon to the desired length. Using E6000 Glue, glue the ribbon into place on the back of the half pumpkin, according to the glue package instructions.
