Etches glass, mirror, and glazed surfaces in just 15 minutes. Easy Etch™ safely delivers a frosted, white, matte finish that will not fade, chip or discolor. Unlike other brands, excess cream can be scraped back into the container, reducing the amount of waste.
Read precautions on container thoroughly before use. Clean surface to be etched with alcohol. Mask off areas that are not to be etched with patterning tape or adhesive-backed stencils. Apply a heavy coat of Easy Etch over surface area to be etched with a palette knife. Let sit for 15 minutes. Remove and return cream to the original container.
Immediately flush etched surface with water to remove remaining cream.
Only rinse in fiberglass or stainless steel sinks. After rinsing, be sure to flush sink with lots of water to ensure no residue is left behind to prevent discoloring of sink. DO NOT rinse Easy Etch cream in porcelain, ceramic, or natural stone sinks such as marble, granite, quartz, or Corian™.
Remove stencil or tape. Rinse again. Flush sink thoroughly after rinsing.
Will not work on plastic, some Pyrex™, high lead content glass, or color coated glass. To ensure etching will occur, test on an inconspicuous area with a drop of Easy Etch on the wooden tip of a paint brush.
Transfer product to a fine tip writer bottle to add intricate details and other design elements to projects.
Use with Americana Reusable Stick-On Stencils, Americana Gloss Enamels Stencils, or any adhesive-backed stencils for simple design options and to prevent the cream from seeping under your stencil.
Items that are in their original condition and packaging can be returned. Only defective product will be accepted without original packaging.
You may return items that are in their original condition and packaging, and there will be a 15% restocking fee deducted from your credit.
DecoArt will pay for the shipping costs if the return is a result of our error. Otherwise it is the responsibility of the customer to pay for return shipping.
To receive a refund for items returned by mail, items must be received at our facility within 30 days of ordering.

Orders totalling over $100 that are being shipped to the US will have the option for free UPS ground shipping.

Items offered at clearance pricing are available only while supplies last. Should a clearance no longer be available, e-mail notification will be sent identifying the cancelled item. Your credit card will not be charged for any item not shipped.
Excluding clearance items, a backorder will automatically be generated for all merchandise not shipped with your original order. A packing list will be included with your order identifying the backordered items. No additional shipment fees will be charged with a backorder and your credit card will not be charged for the backordered item until the product ships. Backorders will be cancelled if items can not ship within 30 days.

For US orders shipped via Ground, please allow 6 to 10 business days from the time of order for processing and delivery.
For Canadian orders shipped via Ground, please allow 8 to 12 business days from the time of order for processing and delivery.
For 2nd Day shipping (US only), please allow 2 to 4 business days from the time of order for processing and delivery. (Note that aerosol sprays will not be shipped via 2nd Day.)
Delivery of items offered in our online store is limited to the continental United States and Canada. Shipments can not be delivered to PO Boxes.
