DecoEARTH is an all-purpose, water-based premium acrylic made with reclaimed paint. The complete line averages 70% or more recycled material. DecoEARTH’s creamy consistency makes it easy to work with for a multitude of projects and allows the paint to flow off the brush smoothly. The colors are intermixable and can be used indoors or outdoors. The paint has a beautiful matte finish and covers most surfaces in one coat.

Out of the 700 million gallons of house paint purchased yearly, 75 million gallons go unused and eventually end up in the waste stream. In response, we created DecoEarth Premium Reclaimed Acrylics to help reduce the amount of paint ending up in landfills across the country. DecoArt has partnered with Encore, a California-based company that has been reclaiming unused house paint for over 7 years by collecting paint from PaintCare states across the United States. Encore carefully sorts the reclaimed paint, removing any unlabeled or hazardous materials. The paint is then separated into "like" colors, processed, and goes through a series of filtration systems. Additional materials are added to bring the paint back to specification. Encore sends several color bases to the DecoArt facility in Kentucky, where they are converted into 27 beautiful colors for the DecoEARTH palette by adding precise pigment formulation and other essential materials to ensure they meet the exact specifications of a DecoArt premium paint product. DecoEARTH is AP certified and made in the U.S. with reclaimed paint and globally sourced materials. We are committed to our new eco-conscious journey.
