Americana Acrylics come in 253 bright pigments that offer excellent coverage in one coat. Each bottle of Americana Acrylics will deliver superior coverage with a permanent, durable finish and is ideal for professional artists, crafters, and students. Americana Acrylics are water-based and non-toxic and can be varnished to create various sheens. This acrylic paint can be used on almost any surface.
Shake well before using. Apply one well-brushed coat using a soft brush or sponge brush. Apply multiple coats when using more transparent colors. Allow to dry thoroughly before applying additional coats or varnishes.
Squirt a small amount out of the bottle at a time since acrylics dry so quickly.
Masking tape applied over already-dried acrylic paint will not damage the existing paint, thus making it easier to produce a hard or sharp edge.
Glass or high-density plastic makes a great reusable palette because acrylic paints will not cling to them, making clean-up easy.
Typically, the shelf life for most paints is 5-7 years. If kept in a closed container under stable living temperatures, shelf life can be indefinite. Here are a few guidelines to follow to determine if your Americana Acrylics are still good to use:
Dry time can depend on temperature, humidity, thickness of application etc. Americana Acrylics normal dry to touch within 15 minutes or less.
Americana Acrylics can be used on surfaces such as metal, glass, or fabric, as long as you use the proper medium. To paint on metal or glass, first prime with Multi-Purpose Sealer or mix it directly with the paint. Mix Fabric Painting Medium with paint for painting on fabric. The painted design should be heat-set with an iron once the paint has cured.
Items that are in their original condition and packaging can be returned. Only defective product will be accepted without original packaging.
You may return items that are in their original condition and packaging, and there will be a 15% restocking fee deducted from your credit.
DecoArt will pay for the shipping costs if the return is a result of our error. Otherwise it is the responsibility of the customer to pay for return shipping.
To receive a refund for items returned by mail, items must be received at our facility within 30 days of ordering.

Items offered at clearance pricing are available only while supplies last. Should a clearance no longer be available, e-mail notification will be sent identifying the cancelled item. Your credit card will not be charged for any item not shipped.
Excluding clearance items, a backorder will automatically be generated for all merchandise not shipped with your original order. A packing list will be included with your order identifying the backordered items. No additional shipment fees will be charged with a backorder and your credit card will not be charged for the backordered item until the product ships. Backorders will be cancelled if items can not ship within 30 days.

For US orders shipped via Ground, please allow 6 to 10 business days from the time of order for processing and delivery.
For Canadian orders shipped via Ground, please allow 8 to 12 business days from the time of order for processing and delivery.
For 2nd Day shipping (US only), please allow 2 to 4 business days from the time of order for processing and delivery. (Note that aerosol sprays will not be shipped via 2nd Day.)
Delivery of items offered in our online store is limited to the continental United States and Canada. Shipments can not be delivered to PO Boxes.
