    Matte Medium and Gesso

Posted by Virginia Hedges on May 7th 2024

I love the gesso because it's so creamy and not gritty. I use it in almost every project in 9ne way or another, whether it's base coating the piece or using a texture with a stencil. It's so versatile . The Matte Medium is a beautiful product. I like to:create mixed media pages for my art journal and this product is a necessity for me. It's very dependable. It is a fabulous adhesive that allows me to paint over it with ease. There's no drag or discoloration. Amazing product.

    DecoArt Media Matte Medium

This product provides a protective, ultra-matte finish during the painting process. After basecoating an area, apply a smooth coat of Matte Medium and allow it to dry. Then, you can apply shading, highlighting, or details and if necessary, safely remove any wayward paint without affecting the basecoat beneath.
