Who hasn't started a project without first having everything you need in your reach? But having everything set up and accessible makes creating even easier and hassle free. First, get all of your supplies and surfaces you need. Lay the surfaces out on the groung to plan how your aesthetic wall will look! Decide which design to use on each surface.
TIP: Use varying sizes of canvases to create visual interest.
Gather your paints
The Americana Pink Palette Bundle is perfect for these paintings! Using a variety of these color mixtures you can acheive the perfect pink asethetic for your art wall. Now comes the hard part...Picking which painting you want to tackle first! Work on one at a time or paint them all simultaneously. Or you could trace all of the images onto your surfaces using carbon paper to have them ready to go when you want to start painting.
SECTION 1 - Pink Disco Ball on Canvas
Step 1- Trace the Template
TIP: Download templates to trace onto canvas using carbon paper. Then, using an eraser, remove the dark lines to leave a lighter guide so it won' t show through your paint layers.

Step 2- Fill in Color
Pick a lighter color from the Pink Palette Americana Acrylic Bundle. Then using a liner brush, paint the linear pattern. Then using different Americana colors from the Pink Palette, fill in the sections! It is good to have a printed template nearby for reference, to stay on track. Once all of the section of the disco ball are painted, touch up the line work and paint around the disco ball with Titanium White or another color of your choice!
TIP: Work with one color at a time to fill in the areas around the design!
SECTION 2 - Pink Cat Painting on Wood
Step 1- Prep the Surface
I chose to work on wood for this one. TIP: If you are working on wood, it is alwasy good to start with a light sanding (in a well ventilated area). Next, basecoat the surface with any color in the Pink Palette, I chose white. Allow to dry and lightly sand again to remove any raised wood particles. Wipe away dust.

Step 2- Pick Your Colors
When I get a new set of paints, I like to paint out swatches, so when I am working on a project I can hold up the swatches to my design and choose the placement. Easy peasy!
Step 3- Paint it
Work in color sections. Paint one color at a time and this will decrease the amount of times you need to rinse your brush.
SECTION 3 - Pink Roller Skates Painting on Canvas
Step 1: Prep Canvas for Image
Pick your surface and think about colors and their placement. Mask off the edge using painter's tape. Paint the background a solid color first and allow to dry. Remove the masking tape.

Step 2- Create Visual Interest
Using a lighter color in the bundle, do a blended area in the center of the masked area. Allow to dry and mask areas for the outer lines. Pick the colors and paint the outer lines first. Use a hairdryer to speed the dry time. Mask again and paint the center line. Touch up any areas using a flat brush.
Step 3- Transfer Image
Now transfier the skate image onto your surface using carbon paper. Erase harse lines to reveal a faint guide to paint.
Step 4-Paint Some Skates
Using a liner brush, paint in the highlights and shadows using a light/dark color in the Pink Palette. Loosely paint raised areas in the skates using white. While paint is still wet on the surface, brush in some other colors- leaving brushstrokes for a painterly look. Pant in some midtones while leaving some of the background color showing through.
SECTION 4 - Pink Wavy Brush Painting on Canvas

Step 1- Big Brush is Key
Use 1"-2" brushes for this technique. First, paint the edges of canvas. I painted the edges using the Bubblegum Pink.
Step 2 - Add Drops
Next, begin placing drops of Titanium White randomly onto the canvas. Then, place dots of the different paint colors onto the canvas. It is helpful to place lighter colors next to darker ones for this technique.
Step 3 - Brush it Out
Using the large brush, drag the bristles through the paint to create wavy patterns. Continue to do this until you have reached your desired look, overlapping wavy designs. TIP: If you don't like how a stroke looks, add some more drops of paint and redo, wiping the brush off between wavy patterns.
