    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Try to find books that have the same color on the cover. The three books on the back need to be similar in size.

    1. Place the Alphabet Spaghetti stencil on the book cover. Use a cosmetic sponge to pick up a small amount of Black Tie and dab the excess paint off on a plate or paper towel. Dab the paint over the stencil. Repeat until the book is completely covered. Repeat with the other books. Let dry.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. When the books have dried, apply a layer of DuraClear High-Gloss Varnish to the covers. Let the first application dry, then add a second layer of varnish to achieve an even, high gloss finish. Let dry completely.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Cut a wood board to fit the length of the books. Arrange three books plus two wooden blocks that are as deep as the books on the board. Place the last two books on top of the blocks. Hold everything in place with hot glue, then flip the board over.
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Use a drill with long screws to attach the books and blocks to the board. (You want the screw to go through the board and at least halfway through the book.)
    8. Instruction #4
    9. Drill through the fronts of the books to insert the decorative knobs. Twist the knobs through the books and the wooden backing, then secure the knobs in the back (if needed) with a hex nut. Use the board that was previously attached to the back as a hook for hanging.
