    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • rubbing alcohol
    • #0 liner brush
    • #12 flat brush
    • soft cloth (optional)
    • green glazed ceramic bowl
    • 1" pouncer

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Clean the bowl with rubbing alcohol. Dry with paper towels or a soft cloth.
    2. For leaves: Double-load a #12 flat brush with Hauser Dark Green and Festive Green. Blend lightly on the palette or plastic plate. Place the brush at the leaf base with lighter color at the top. Press and pull outward. Twist the brush as you pull and lift it to form a pointed leaf tip.
    3. For flowers: Load a #12 flat brush with True Red. Lightly tip brush with Bright Orange. Beginning at the petal tip, touch the brush to the surface; apply light pressure and pull toward the flower center. Reload the brush and repeat the stroke for each petal.
    4. Use a 1" round pouncer and Bright Yellow to stamp the flower centers. Use the end handle of the #12 flat brush and Bright Yellow to dot the insides of flower centers.
    5. Use a #0 liner brush and Black to loosely outline all elements.
    6. Allow to dry for four days.
    7. Baking instructions: Place the painted project in a cold oven. Set the oven at 325 degrees. When the oven reaches temperature, time for 30 minutes. Turn off the oven; crack the oven door open and allow project to cool down before removing.
