Create a vibrant patriotic setting outdoors with flower pots painted with Patio Paint Outdoor™.

SUPPLIES

• water container
• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• pencil
• terra cotta pots
• 3/4" flat brush
• #8 flat brush
• #6 round brush

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Using a 3/4" flat brush, basecoat the terra cotta pots with two coats: inside of the large pot in Cloud White and outside in Summer Sky Blue; inside of one small pot in Geranium Red and outside in Cloud White; and inside of the other small pot in Summer Sky Blue and the outside in Geranium Red.
2. Using a 3/4" flat brush, paint two coats on the top rim of each pot with Chalkboard Paint. The first coat is vertical and the second coat, horizontal.
3. Using a 3/4" flat brush, paint a band across the bottom of the large pot with two coats of Cloud White.
4. Using a #8 flat brush, paint vertical stripes with two coats of Geranium Red on the Cloud White band of the large pot.
5. Using a pencil, draw stars in various sizes on the two small pots. Using a #6 round brush, paint Summer Sky Blue stars on the Cloud White pot and Cloud White stars on the Geranium Red pot.
6. Using a #6 round brush, paint stars inside of the stars: Cloud White inside of the Summer Sky Blue stars and Summer Sky Blue inside of the White Cloud stars.
7. Dot paint on outer points of the stars in the same color as the "back" stars.
