    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Sand the wooden letters that spell "luck" to remove any rough edges. Wipe down with a damp paper towel.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Paint the sides and back of the letters in Sour Apple.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Paint the outside edge of the front of the wooden letters in Sour Apple.
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Place the letter with the front side down onto the desired patterned scrapbook paper. With a pencil, trace the wooden letter as close to the wood as possible. Cut out the letter using a craft knife or scissors, cutting 1/8” smaller than the trace line. (Make sure the paper fits the letter properly or make adjustments, as needed.)
    8. Instruction #4
    9. Apply Americana Matte Decou-Page to the front of the letter. Position the patterned paper and remove any wrinkles or bubbles with fingers. Apply an additional coat of Decou-Page to the top of the scrapbook paper.
    10. Instruction #5
    11. Paint two wooden shamrocks in Sour Apple using a 1" flat brush.
    12. Instruction #6
    13. Apply Decou-Page generously to the shamrock. Sprinkle green glitter over the surface while the Decou-Page is still wet. Shake off the excess and allow to dry. Spray the shamrock with Americana Gloss Spray Finish once the Decou-Page has dried.
    14. Instruction #7
    15. Once dry, add matching ribbons to the L and the C. Adhere the shamrocks to the U and K using E6000 Glue. (Refer to photo for placement.)
    16. Instruction #8
    17. To create a matching bunting, cut triangle shapes out of the leftover scrapbook paper and attach them to a piece of ribbon with a glue gun.
