Alice in Wonderland Succulent Planters

Create these Alice in Wonderland themed-planters with Americana® Multi-Surface Acrylics.

SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • scissors
    • painter's tape
    • galvanized metal container
    • vinyl
    • tulle
    • potting soil
    • paintbrushes
    • succulents

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Paint the metal containers in Cotton Ball if the containers are not white. Let the paint dry completely.
      2. Instruction #1
    2. Create three vinyl stencils using the clear vinyl and the patterns provided. (Enlarge the patterns to fit the metal containers.) Apply a vinyl stencil to the outside of each metal containers.

    3. Paint in the empty spaces using Black Tie and Lipstick alternately on the container with the card suits stencil. Use Black Tie only for the diamonds and the stripes stencils. Apply a second coat, if needed.

    4. Remove the vinyl stencils. Let the paint dry completely.

    5. Add potting soil to fill each container.

    6. Cut the succulent picks to the correct height.

    7. Insert the picks and tie blue tulle around each container.
