INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Using a foam brush, paint one slat each in Sea Breeze, Coastal Waters, Sky Blue, and Turquoise Waters. Be sure to paint the edges between the slats with a small flat brush.
- Distress the pallet edges with fine-grit sandpaper.
- Paint the "SEA" letters in Desert Turquoise and Sea Breeze. Mix Desert Turquoise and Sea Breeze to create a different shade for the third letter. Let dry. Once dry, distress the edges with fine-grit sandpaper.
- Paint the starfish hooks in Coastal Waters using a flat brush. Let dry; then distress lightly with fine-grit sandpaper.
- Apply a very small amount of Everlasting to a chip brush. Dab off the extra on a paper towel. Dry-brush the wooden pallet by lightly brushing in short, quick strokes. (If the sign ends up with too much white paint, you can always remove with a damp paper towel and start over.)
- Use hot or E6000 Glue to attach seashells to the sign.
