Black Crow Pumpkin

Give your décor something to crow about this Halloween with Americana® Gloss Enamels.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- tracing paper
- transfer paper
- scissors
- pencil
- #3 round brush
- #6 flat brush
- hot glue gun and glue sticks
- 6" and 10" foam pumpkins
- black chenille stems
- Fun Foam sheets
- Versa Tool
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Use a pencil and tracing and transfer papers to trace and transfer the face onto the small pumpkin.
- Use a #6 flat brush to paint the big and small pumpkins Black. (Leave the face unpainted.)
- Use a #6 flat brush to paint the beak Bright Yellow; pupil, Black; iris, Calypso Blue; and White on the outer eye and sparkle in the eye.
- Use a #3 round brush to outline the eye and put nose holes on the beak.
- Trace and transfer the wings and tail onto black Fun Foam. Trace and transfer the feet onto orange Fun Foam. Cut out all pieces with scissors.
- Use a #3 round brush to paint White lines in the wings and Black onto the talons on the feet.
- Use hot glue to attach the wings, tail, and feet.
- Cut the 1" and 2" chenille stems in half. Bend them and stick them through the top of the head covering stem.
- Use a Versa tool or craft knife to cut a circle out of the bottom of the crow's head, making it wide enough to go over the stem of the larger pumpkin.
- Use hot glue to the attach head to the body.
