Bold Red and Black Evening Sandals

Step out in vibrant color and a herringbone design with DecoArt® Stylin™ paint.

SUPPLIES

    • tracing paper
    • 1/2" flat brush
    • vinyl
    • shoes
    • round #4 brush
    • 3/4" brush

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Paint the desired portions of the shoe using Black. Let dry.
      2. Instruction #1
    2. Paint the other parts of the shoe using Brick. Let dry.
      3. Instruction #2
    3. Create the herringbone stencil from the attached pattern and a sheet of vinyl. Apply the herringbone stencil to the strap of the shoe.
      4. Instruction #3
    4. Paint the open areas of the stencil using Brick. Allow to dry to the touch.
      5. Instruction #4
    5. Apply a second coat of Brick.
      6. Instruction #5
    6. Carefully remove the stencil and let the paint dry completely.
      7. Instruction #6
    7. Continue the herringbone pattern on the wedge portion of the shoe.
      8. Instruction #7
    8. Paint the open areas using Brick. Add a second coat for desired coverage.

    9. Remove the stencil and let dry completely.
      10. Instruction #9
    10. Touch up any bleeding or mistakes using a small pointed brush.
