INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Draw the desired design on the wooden pendant with pencil. (You can use photo below as a guide or look up tiki faces online.)
- Fill in each space of the tiki face with color using Bluegrass Green, Ocean Blue, Carousel Pink, Bright Orange, Cadmium Yellow, Snow White, and Burnt Umber. (See photos for placement.)
- Continue to add color using a liner brush. If needed, add a second layer of paint after the first one has dried.
- Paint the wooden beads with the same colors used on the tiki face. (I placed four wooden beads on a toothpick to make painting easier. I placed the toothpicks in a block of Styrofoam to let the paint dry.)
- Use a fine tip permanent marker to trace the sections on the tiki mask.
- Use thin cord to string the beads and pendant together to create a necklace.
