    • transfer paper
    • scissors
    • pencil
    • flat brush
    • small spray bottle of water
    • canvas
    • watercolor paper
    • scrapbook paper
    • round brush
    • liner brush

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Mix three to five variations of Primary Magenta, Cadmium Orange Hue, and White. Use a large flat brush to paint clean water onto the entire canvas. While the water is still wet, randomly apply the mixes onto the canvas. Allow the colors to seep together to make a watercolor look.
    2. On the upper left and lower right corners, lightly spray Magenta Spray Mister. Once it dries, stencil the lightest mix from the previous step using the polka dot stencil and a cosmetic sponge in the same areas.
    3. Transfer the camera pattern onto the canvas. Find a piece of scrapbook paper that you want to be on the front strip of the camera. Transfer just the front strip onto the scrapbook paper and cut out. Using Matte Medium, adhere panel into place.
    4. Mix White and Cobalt Teal Hue and use it to paint the rest of the camera with a flat brush. While the paint is still wet, add some Cobalt Teal for shadows. Paint the buttons of the camera in Black, Dark Grey, and a mix of Dark Grey and White with a round brush. Paint the ring outside of the lens in Dark Grey. While it is still wet, add Light Grey for the highlights. Mix Pthalo Turquoise and Dark Grey to paint the lens. Mix White into the lens while the paint is still wet.
    5. Paint the scallops around the lens in light grey mix. Using a liner brush, outline the camera and details in Cobalt Teal.
    6. On watercolor paper, transfer the flowers and leaves. Paint the flowers with a round brush in Primary Magenta, Dioxazine Purple, Hansa Yellow Light, and Cadmium Orange. Paint the leaves in a mix of Sap Green and Green Gold. Add white to the flower mixes to add the petals. With black, add the centers of the flowers. Cut out all of the flowers and leaves
    7. Place the flowers in the rough arrangement you would like them in. Using Matte Medium, adhere them in place. Once the canvas has dried, seal with your favorite varnish.
