    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Clean the jar. (See helpful hint below.) Cut out the mouth shape from the self-stick plastic. Remove the paper backing. Position and press onto the jar.
    2. Use the 3/4" flat brush and Bright Orange Gloss Enamels to paint the jar. Paint the lid and ring Festive Green. Set aside for several minutes.
    3. Apply a second coat of Bright Orange on the jar and Festive Green on the lid using the 3/4" flat brush.
    4. Load the 3/4" flat brush with Bright Orange. Dip a corner of the brush in Tuscan Red. Blend on the palette or plastic plate. Position the brush at the jar neck and drag down to the jar's bottom. Repeat these evenly-spaced vertical lines around the jar.
    5. Run a craft knife blade around the edge of the mouth shape. Carefully lift and remove the plastic.
    6. Paint the eye shapes White and the nose shape Tuscan Red with the #3 round brush.
    7. Paint over the White areas with Bright Yellow.
    8. Use 3D Opaque Writers to outline the eyes with Primary Yellow, the nose with True Red, and the mouth with Bright Orange.
    9. To bake: Let dry for four days. Place in a cold oven. Set temperature at 325 degrees. When oven reaches the temperature, time for 30 minutes. Turn off the oven and crack the door open, allowing glass to cool before removing.
