    3. Use a pencil and ruler to line up where you want the pattern to go; mark on crate.
    4. Use a pencil to trace and transfer on the designs.
    5. Use a #12 flat brush to fill in the soccer cleat with Black Chalkboard Paint. (This may need two coats.) Rinse brush.
    6. Use a #6 flat brush to basecoat all words and star with Snow White. Let dry completely.
    7. Use a #6 flat brush to paint in the words “ALL STAR” with True Red. Rinse brush.
    8. Use a #6 flat brush with Cadmium Yellow to fill in the star. Rinse brush.
    9. Use a #6 flat brush separately with True Red, Snow White, Bright Orange, Sour Apple, and Cadmium Yellow to fill in name. Rinse brush between colors and at the end. (If name is longer than the number of colors, just repeat the color scheme from the beginning.) Let dry completely.
    10. Use a marker to outline the name and “ALL STAR”, including the star in between.
