Create this vibrant Ceramic Copper and Lava Vase using DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics and DecoArt Media products!

Gather your supplies!

Instruction Image #1

Apply DecoArt Texture Sand with a stiff brush.  I used a stencil brush.

Allow to dry and apply a second coat.

Once dry, apply Media Fluid Acrylics in Burnt Umber.

Apply a second coat and allow to dry.

Instruction Image #5

Create a wash diluting Carbon Black and allow to drip down the vase.

Add undiluted Carbon Black in some areas and allow to drip.

Add drops of Quinacridone Gold around the neck of the vase.

Add water and allow to drip down the body of the vase.

Repeat the process with Media Fluid Acrylic Dark Grey Value 3.

To create the Copper, mix Metallic Gold with Transparent Red Iron Oxide aprox 2:3 to 1:3 and add water to a consistency that will easily drip.

Apply to the neck of the vase and keep applying and allow to drip.

Finish with Splatter Effect and enjoy!
