Turn an ordinary bottle into a chalkboard Christmas bottle, perfect for gift giving.

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • scissors
    • ruler
    • #8 round brush
    • cosmetic sponge
    • wine bottle
    • Con-Tact® paper

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Measure the bottle from the bottom 2/3 of the way up. Out of Con-Tact paper, cut five triangles in varying sizes and a small rectangle (trunk) to fit the bottle.
    2. Apply the Con-Tact paper "trunk" to the bottom first and then the largest triangle on up to the smallest. Be sure they are overlapping.
    3. Use a cosmetic sponge to dab on two coats of Glass Chalkboard Paint.
    4. Use a #8 round brush to paint a star at the top point of the tree in Lipstick.
    5. Use a #8 round brush to dot on "ornaments" in Lipstick, Melonball, and Leprechaun.
    6. Use a #8 round brush to add a dotted line around the perimeter of the tree.
