Create a cute pastel chalky finish chick centerpiece for your Easter Brunch

SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • paper towels
    • sandpaper
    • hot glue gun
    • 3/4" flat brush
    • #8 round brush
    • acrylic palette paper
    • Easter basket filler or shredded paper
    • wooden eggs
    • papier mâché box
    • papier mâché egg
    • wooden heart shape

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Use a 3/4 flat brush and Relic to base coat all pieces.

    3. Using a 3/4 flat brush, paint all the pieces in the following colors, round box in Everlasting, 2 hearts in Smitten, 2 eggs in Promise, 2 eggs in Refreshing, 2 eggs in Innocence, 2 eggs and large egg in Delicate.

    5. Use a #8 round brush to add accents to the eggs.

    7. Using a #8 round brush to paint the chick's face, eyes in Relic, beak in Smitten. Use sandpaper to distress the chick and his feet.

    9. Use sandpaper to distress the round box and the eggs.

    11. Use hot glue gun to adhere eggs (refer to photo)

    13. Use a hot glue gun to adhere a couple yellow feathers to the top of chick's head.

    15. Fill box with Easter basket filler or shredded paper. Position chick inside box.
