Three cheers for this chalkboard for your locker or wall and it's cheerful way to get organized.

SUPPLIES

    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • tracing paper
    • transfer paper
    • sandpaper
    • pencil
    • #2 round brush
    • 3/4" flat brush
    • wooden heart plaque with beaded hanger

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

    Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Use a 3/4" flat brush to basecoat the entire heart plaque using Blue Lagoon.
    2. With the same brush, while still wet, add a small amount of Turquoise Waters to mix on the heart. Rinse brush.
    3. Transfer the pattern to the center of the heart with tracing & transfer papers and a pencil or pen.
    4. Use a #2 round brush and load with Turquoise Waters to paint a squiggly border following the heart shape. Rinse brush.
    5. Use a #2 round brush and load with Steel Grey to fill in the cheerleader. Rinse brush. Let dry completely. Lightly sand.
    6. Use a #2 round brush and load separately with Dolphin, Blue Lagoon, and Turquoise Waters to paint the beads on the plaque hanger and repeat color combo to fill all beads. Rinse brush.
    7. Use a 3/4” flat brush and load with Clear Chalkboard Coating to paint over the entire heart shape, following label instructions. Rinse brush.
