INSTRUCTIONS
- Use a 3/4" flat brush to paint the entire canvas in Pyrrole Red.
- From the red scrapbook papers, cut out 2" x 2" squares with scissors. (The squares do not have to be perfect.) Use a 3/4" flat brush to adhere the squares to the canvas (seven across and nine down) with Matte Medium.
- Use the pattern to cut out four triangle shapes out of white-patterned scrapbook paper. Paint the triangles Green Gold and let dry. When dry, put the triangles together into a tree shape using Matte Medium on a 3/4" flat brush.
- Use a 3/4" flat brush to adhere the Christmas tree to the canvas with Matte Medium.
- Use scissors to cut out the elements (clocks, roses, etc.) from the Recollections Steampunk Botanica paper pad and adhere to the Christmas tree using a 3/4" flat brush with Matte Medium. Use a #8 round brush to outline the tree in Carbon Black.
- Use scissors to cut out the crow image and adhere it to the top of the Christmas tree with Matte Medium. Using a #8 round brush, outline the crow in Carbon Black.
- Randomly stencil clocks from the Americana Timeless Treasures Stencil onto the canvas using a cosmetic sponge in Carbon Black.
- From the Americana Metallic Type Decou-Page Papers, cut out "Merry Christmas" and adhere using a 3/4" flat brush and Matte Medium. Mix about 10% Carbon Black with 90% Texture Sand Paste on the palette or plastic plate. Use a #8 round brush to loosely paint around the clocks and "Merry Christmas". Use a #8 round brush and paint over the Carbon Black/Texture Sand Paste areas in Quinacridone Gold and blend for a rusted look.
- Use a 3/4" flat brush to loosely frame the perimeter of the canvas in Quinacridone Violet.
