    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Pre-wash and dry the sweatshirt using no softeners.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Tear a piece of wax paper to fit inside the sweatshirt to prevent paint from seeping through to the back.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Use a pen and the tracing and transfer papers to trace and transfer just the background color swatches to the sweatshirt front. Use a #12 flat brush and load separately with Christmas (Primary) Red and Mediterranean Blue to paint on swatches. Rinse brush. Let dry completely.
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Use a pen and the tracing and transfer papers to trace and transfer the remainder of the pattern. Use a #8 flat brush and White to fill in all but the football helmet. (Avoid the shadows.)
    8. Instruction #4
    9. Tear pieces of painter's tape around the numbers and letters. Place the chevron stencil over the letters and numbers. Load a cosmetic sponge with Silver Platinum (Metallic) and fill in the letters and numbers. Pounce on over all, except for the football helmet. Use a #1 round brush and load with Silver Platinum (Metallic) for the helmet. (If any Silver Platinum (Metallic) gets outside the lines, just touch up using the #8 round brush and either Christmas (Primary) Red or Mediterranean Blue.)
    10. Instruction #5
    11. Use a #8 flat brush and Christmas (Primary) Red to fill in the shadows on all numbers or letters in the Mediterranean Blue swatches except for the helmet. Rinse brush. Use a #1 round brush and Christmas (Primary) Red to outline the helmet and ear piece and fill in the heart and mouth guard. Rinse brush.
    12. Instruction #6
    13. Use the same brush and Mediterranean Blue to fill in the shadows on all numbers or letters in the Christmas (Primary) Red sections. Rinse brush.
    14. Instruction #7
