College Football Drink Cooler
Posted by DecoArt on Sep 13th 2015
There is nothing like the start of college football. The cool weather, the friends and the fun of crafting for your tailgating events!
We are big UVA Fans here, so this fall, I thought I'd make a fun drink cooler to show our support for the Cavaliers.
Items Needed:
- Galvanized Bucket
- Wooden Letters
- Painters Tape
- Paint Brushes
- Construction Adhesive
Instructions:
This project is a quick and easy way to show your team spirit!
To make this project, first tape off a fun, geometric design on your galvanized bucket.
Then use your paint brush and Americana Multi-Surface Paint to add team spirit to your cooler.
I allowed the first coat to dry and added one more coat of paint.
Immediately after the second coat, gently peel off the painters tape. Allow the paint to dry thoroughly, and then use the construction adhesive to glue on your wooden letters.
Fill with ice and have a great, big celebration!
We usually only get over to Charlottesville for one game, but it's so much fun and the campus is incredibly beautiful.
We will definitely have fun this year with our new UVA Drink Cooler!
