Color Pop Hexagon Shelves
Posted by DecoArt on Apr 5th 2016
It's finally spring here in Virginia, and I'm celebrating with some pops of color! I'm thrilled with the gorgeous new hues from the Americana Acrylics line and am loving this added fun to my evolving family room.
It's no secret that I'm a big fan of geometrics and color, which makes this project totally a fun addition to my home.
Items Needed:
- Americana Acrylics 2oz - Teal Mint
- Americana Acrylics 2oz - Colonial Blue
- Americana Acrylics 2oz - Aqua Sky
- Geometric Wood Shelves
- Paint Sponges
Instructions:
I found these geometric shelves at a local craft store, but you could very easily make them.
This is a very easy project. Just take your paint sponge and paint the inside of your hexagon shelf.
I painted two coats on each shelf to make sure to get a strong, opaque coverage.
Isn't this Aqua Sky divine?
Not to mention this Teal Mint?
I can't get over this Colonial Blue. It's a lovely, purply grey color.
I hung them just over my new sectional. The colors play beautifully with each other and against the geometric gem wallpaper.
I found these adorable succulents at my local hardware store, and they were a perfect fit for the shelves.
Are you a fan of the raw wood, geometric trend? You just can't go wrong with these fabulous new colors!
