Create colorful boho-inspired candlesticks using Americana® Acrylics.

SUPPLIES

• palette or plastic plate
• 220-grit sandpaper
• clean cloth
• paintbrushes
• wooden candleholder

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Lightly sand the surface of the candlestick. Wipe away dust with a clean cloth. Paint each section of the candleholder a different color from the products listed. (Melon was used here on the top and bottom.) Use a small paintbrush to get into the tight spaces.

2. Varying the Americana Acrylics color makes for a fun-loving, bohemian-inspired look. Bolder colors were used for the bigger sections while softer colors were layered onto the smaller sections for contrast.

3. Using the same steps as the tall candlestick, paint a variety of vibrant Americana Acrylics colors onto the short candlestick.
