Coral and Gold Side Table

There's just something about the the color coral. It's a color that carries you away to some place happy and carefree. It's summer...all the most lovable things about summer. The sunsets, sand and surf. And this summer with bright colors trending, I couldn't resist using one of my favorite colors to give an old side table a second chance!

This is how the table looked when I uncovered it hiding in the basement...
Chalky Finish Paint in Smitten was my first choice because I love the ease of painting furniture with Chalky Finish Paint
After two coats of Chalky Finish Paint, I went back over the trim with Metallic Paint in Gold,
and used this gorgeous foil paper from DecoArt to decorate the front of the drawers.
The finished table is a mix of fun and fancy.
Gold added here and there gave the table a little shimmer.
And it only took a couple of afternoons to finish.
