Country Cottage Rose Gold Earring Organizer

Hang earrings in an upcycled frame for an organizer that is both pretty and useful.

SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • soft cloth
    • 1" flat brush
    • stapler
    • rectangle wooden frame
    • matching ribbon
    • chicken wire
    • duct tape
    • wire cutters
    • 1/2" chisel brush

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

    Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Remove the backing and glass from the frame.
    2. Using a 1" flat brush, paint the frame with two coats of Everlasting.

    4. Use the 1/2" chisel brush to paint an accent of the frame with two coats of Bahama Blue.

    6. Use a soft cloth to apply Rose Gold onto the frame. (Apply a light coat for a shabby chic look or a heavy coat of a more modern look.)

    8. Use wire cutters to cut a piece of chicken wire just large enough to fit the back side of the frame. Use the upholstery stapler to staple the chicken wire onto the back side of the frame. If desired, cover the sharp ends of the wire by securing the ends with duct tape.

    10. Use a stapler to staple ribbon of choice onto the back side of the frame. Tie the ribbon ends into a bow to hang the frame.
