Light up Halloween décor with Americana® Acrylics Neon Lights.
- 1" painter's tape
- #1 and #2 round brushes
- 6" foam pumpkin
- Aleene's Tacky Glue
- dark graphite paper
- wooden canvas
- 3/4" flat brush
- wooden candlestick
Let paint and White Gesso dry before proceeding to the next step.
- Seal the pumpkins and the wooden panels with a coat of White Gesso. Paint one pumpkin with Knockout Blue and the other with Peach Punch. Paint the candlesticks with Lamp Black. Measure and tape off 1" stripes on the wooden panels. Paint one with alternating stripes of Green Energy and Peach Punch, and the other with alternating Peach Punch and Knockout Blue.
- Transfer the pattern onto the surface with dark graphite paper and paint it with Lamp Black.
- Transfer the pattern and paint the ghost with a coat of White Gesso. Let dry and paint with White. Paint the BOO and the ghost face with Lamp Black. Outline the ghost with Lamp Black.
- Use the handle end of a large brush to dot the pumpkins with Lamp Black and paint the stems. Glue the pumpkins to the candlesticks with tacky glue.
