Add a touch of water-life decor with this decoupaged betta fish, made with Americana® Premium™ Acrylics

SUPPLIES

• water container
• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• 6" x 6" canvas board
• colored paper
• patterned paper
• paintbrushes

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Decoupage, using Matte Decou-Page, a piece of patterned paper over the canvas.

2. Using more Decou-Page Matte, adhere pieces of pink, orange, and grey paper in the shape of a betta fish. (Use the pattern to help guide the shape.)

3. Paint around the fish using Prussian Blue Hue and Cobalt Turquoise Hue.

4. Add accents to the water using Titanium White and Green Gold. Paint the fish in Quinacridone Violet and Quinacridone Magenta. Add details such as the eyes, mouth, and fin veins, with Carbon Black.
